Master Plan for Bhiwadi-Tapookara-Khushkhera Complex nears completion

Bhiwadi-Tapookara-Khushkhera Complex (BTK) is part of the National Capital Region (NCR). Regional Plan-2021 of NCR has identified BTK Complex to be developed as a Regional Center/Priority Town. BTK Complex-a fast developing industrial township- by virtue of its location on NH-8 and in the middle of the Delhi-Jaipur Corridor, has been made part of the national level planning and development efforts like Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) and Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC-Western Corridor).

To ensure structured growth and to improve the quality of life of residents of the BTK Complex (Greater Bhiwadi), Government of Rajasthan through the Office of the Chief Town Planner (NCR), intended to prepare the Master Plan and appointed M/s EGIS India Consulting Engineers Pvt. Ltd. in JV with Groupe SCE, Bangalore for the “Preparation of Master Plan for Bhiwadi-Tapookara-Khushkhera Complex”. Egis India commenced work on the project in April 2009. The Master Plan has been prepared using the latest high resolution Quick Bird Satellite Imagery and GIS based mapping. Egis India, by virtue of its expertise in land use planning, has prepared the Draft Master Plan for horizon year 2031 on the GIS platform with the help of Groupe SCE. In line with the efforts for building consensus, which is a key characteristic as well as legal requirement of Master Plan projects, the Draft Master Plan was notified for objections and suggestions from general public. With the submission and notification of Draft Master Plan, about 90% of the work has been completed to the client’s satisfaction. Egis India in consultation with the client subsequently is in the process of incorporating the suggestions received to finalize the Draft Master Plan.
