Construction Supervision of KSHIP II Stage I Roads in Karnataka

Egis International in JV with Egis India and Aarvee, have been appointed as the Construction Supervision Consultant to assist the PIU KSHIP, for the Supervision and Contract Administration for five packages.

Government of Karnataka through Government of India is in the process of obtaining a loan of US$ 300 million from the International Bank for Reconstruction & Development (IBRD) as financial assistance for the up gradation of State Highways in Karnataka under the Karnataka State Highways Improvement Project Phase II – Stage 1.

 

KSHIP intends to develop 827 km length of State Highways under stage 1, out of which, about 270 km was procured on EPC modality and another 557 on Annuity basis. The EPC Contract works in Stage 1 were procured in 5 packages mentioned below.  The works involve improving the existing State Highways for geometric improvements and realignments to standard 2 lanes of 7m carriageway and 1.5 m paved/soft shoulders and generally wider construction in built-up areas including median separated dual carriageways.
