Egis India to prepare City Development Plans & City Investment Plans for 3 towns in Bihar

The assignment involves the preparation of City Development Plans (CDPs) and City Investment Plans (CIPs) for three towns (Gaya, Aurangabad, Sasaram) with focus areas of Urban Economic development, Social Assessment, Urban Infrastructure, Human Resources and Institutional issues.
Preparation of the CDPs and CIPs will consist of sector analysis reports outlining the profile of the city, city visions-2030, sector goals and development strategies that come out of a structured consultative process. There will be three stakeholders’ consultation workshops at different stages of the CDP preparation wherein outcome of every stage of CDP preparation will be discussed for feedback's.

The process will enable elected representatives, key staff of ULB with its different departments, line departments in respective towns, parastatal agencies and other institutions, policy makers and the citizens to participate and plan for spatial, social and economic development of the concern cities. A City Development Plan (CDP) will present both a vision of a desired future perspective for the city and the ULB's strategic framework of sectoral plans. In order to realize the shared vision for the town sector goals will be set which shall be socially beneficial, regionally contextual, environmentally sustainable, financially viable institutionally executable and politically acceptable. To achieve each of the individual goals, alternate strategies will be formulated through identification of priority projects. Costing of all identified projects along with identification of funding sources will constitute the CIP and Financial Operating Plan (FOP).
