Engineering & Project Management Consultancy Services for the Orissa Integrated Sanitation Improvement Project (JBIC Funded)
On 30 th October 2009, Egis BCEOM International (EBI) signed a contract for Engineering & Project Management Consultancy for Bhubaneswar and Cuttack – Sewerage and Storm water drainage system. EBI is a consortium member in the project along with Tokyo Engineering, Japan and Tetra Tech USA. Egis India (EI) will be the supporting member of the consortium to cater to the local component of the assignment.
Detailed Engineering study and Project Management services will be provided for the improvements in the Stormwater and Sewerage system for the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack
a) Overall project management : It includes assistance of consultants on physical, financial, social & institutional matters along with formulation of project plans & other plans, monitoring, supervision, preparation of various.
b) Field investigation: Topographic surveys and Geotechnical Investigations.
c) Detailed Design & Detailed Project Report and Evaluation of prequalification proposal & Bids:
d) Construction supervision including quality control.
e) Environmental monitoring : The consultants will be involved in environmental monitoring & management
f) Financial management.
g) Creation of asset database introduction of Non Revenue Water reduction activities.
h) Assist in implementation of PPP in operation & maintenance.
i) Assist in organizational strengthening in planning, financial & Human Resource management
EBI and EI will provide the International experience and technology and be involved with the client for the project period of 5 years and provide them a sewerage and storm water system to improve the standard of living for the local citizens by providing appropriate collection and treatment system for the drainage system.
