Techno economic and financial feasibility study and institutional arrangements study for setting up of heliports in selected locations of Mumbai & Navi Mumbai

 

  • Preparation of Techno Economic and Financial Feasibility report on the setting up of heliports at selected locality on traffic and engineering investigations
  • To identify the agency/agencies capable and experienced in handling the operations of the heliport and to recommend methods of implementation and funding arrangements

Financial feasibility & Preliminary engineering estimates

 

  • Travel Demand Estimation: Considering passenger demand at present and future growth for next 10 years - at weekly/ monthly landings.
  • To prepare the Techno-economic and financial feasibility.
  • To study and estimate the readership and forecast for next 20 years.
  • Carry out all the Engineering surveys essential for establishing suitability of the sites and Preliminary engineering estimates.
  • To assess the land requirements and suggest appropriate locations.
  • To initiate and ascertain all the essential statutory permissions and from all the concerned statutory agencies.
  • Carryout rapid Environmental Assessment.
  • Suggest method of implementation.
  • Identify suitably Institutional and Funding arrangements.
  • Consider this potential site along with 3 other sites identified and their interconnectivity.

The proposed International Airport and its suitability shall be checked for its full scale operation vis-à-vis airport operation.
