I am very happy to share with you that in 2016, Egis recorded growth of 9.3%, a performance which sees our managed turnover exceed the one billion euro mark (€1.020 billion). These results are fuelled by both external and organic growth.
Egis is 75% owned by the French “Caisse des Dépôts” and 25% owned by Iosis Partenaires, (a “partner” executive and employee shareholding) and employs 13,800 people, including 8,400 in engineering.
Over the years, Egis has established itself as a truly global infrastructure consultancy, with a presence spanning Barcelona to Bangalore, with more than 50% of its revenues generated outside France.
Egis in India enjoys a strong reputation built in the last two decades and is associated with some very prestigious projects, positively impacting the lives of millions.
As India emerges as a global economic powerhouse, Egis in India continues to play a key role in the Egis Group. In the near future, Egis in India is poised to become the global hub for the Group in some key sectors, thereby playing a bigger role for Egis globally.

We are elated to be entrusted with the responsibility of developing Bhubaneswar and Chandigarh – two smart cities which will be the first two smart cities being developed under the smart city program. Egis has brought in immense value to the Rail sector with its global experience & expertise and is actively partnering almost every major metro project in the country.

The achievements of Egis in India have been applauded and appreciated by the Egis Group. Today, India is one of the three pole countries of Egis outside France and is entrusted with spearheading all activities of the Group in India, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh. India is also the largest subsidiary of Egis outside France.
Headquartered in Delhi NCR and with offices in North, South, East and West of India, Egis in India is growing at a phenomenal rate year on year. Egis in India has doubled its turnover and trebled its manpower strength over the last couple of years and is ready to catapult itself to its next level of growth through both organic and inorganic routes.
