Project overview

The DSIR urban development area is divided into six (6) town planning schemes, under which micro-level planning with neighbourhood level infrastructure provisions has been carried out. The total area of Town Planning Schemes 1 and 2 is broken down into three packages: the area of Town Planning Scheme-1 (TP1), the area to the west of the Central Spine Road (SH-6) in Town Planning Scheme-2 (TP2W), and the area to the east of the Central Spine Road (SH-6) in Town Planning Scheme-2 (TP2E).

TP2E is spread over approximately 57 sq km of area with approximately 170 km of road starting from 12 m Right-of-Way (RoW) up to 55 m RoW. Annexure B of this document provides further information regarding the town planning scheme. An additional road of 70 m RoW along the southern fringe of TP2E, which has been included as part of Town Planning Scheme 4, has been included within the purview of the scope, which shall provide complete closed-loop connectivity from the envisaged 250 m RoW spine road/ expressway. It is intended to execute the works at site through multiple or a single Design-Build (DB) contract.

Our missions

Egis along with its JV partners is working on the preliminary design of Dholera TP2E. Egis’s special focus is on Traffic, Power, Gas and Information & Communication Technology (ICT). Dholera being conceived as India’s first SMART city, the ICT component is the driver of the project. Egis particularly is adopting a holistic approach in its design with the appreciation that the ICT component will drive the efficient administration of the city and offer a vastly superior quality of life to the residents.
