Egis is the Project Management Consultant (PMC) for the Construction of Integrated office building of Andhra Pradesh State Secretariat and Government Head of Departments (HOD’s) in Amaravati Government Complex, Andhra Pradesh.

Project overview

The role of Egis is to assist APCRDA to ensure successful completion, commissioning and handing over of the project to APCRDA and comprehensively supervise the works and activities carried out by the Contractor(s) as “Owner's Engineer"


Our missions

The broad Scope of Project includes the construction of high rise building made up of RCC framed structure; including architectural and finishing works, external finishes & cladding works, Interior works, electrical works, plumbing & sanitary works, HVAC & fire protection works, Building Management Systems, lifts, signage’s, external paving, roads, storm water drainage, landscaping works etc in compliance with Green Building Concepts/ LEED certification.

 Construction Phase:

  • Review and finalization of the designs, plans, drawings and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) furnished by the Contractor under EPC contract system
  • Review and Approval of Procurement of various materials by contractor(s)
  • Provision of construction supervision
  • Monitoring and control of the works progress
  • Ensure works completion on Schedule and within Budget
  • Ensure total compliance in-line with the approved designs, plans, drawings, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), technical specifications and various other requirements contained in the respective contracts by the Contractor(s)
  • Implement high standard quality assurance system, both within the firms as well as in the past projects undertaken
  • Verification of measurements and bills submitted by the Contractor(s)
  • Coordination amongst contractors, various consultants, vendors working under the project and APCRDA
  • Ensure implementation of modern safety practices in execution of works at project sites for ensuring complete safety for all stakeholders
  • Comprehensive and documented reporting to the APCRDA of Consultant's own activities, progress of the project(s) and compliances/ non-compliances by the Contractor(s)
  • Assist APCRDA in drafting applications to seek various statutory approvals
  • Provide assistance to APCRDA with respect to contract implementation, claims and other matters
  • Advise and assist the Client with respect to dispute resolution, litigation, if so required

Post Construction:

  • Settlement of all accounts of the firms including reconciliations of materials supplied to the firms (if any)
  • Provide project completion report inclusive of all technical, functional and financial information of the project
  • Coordinate the handover of the completed projects in all aspects, free from all encumbrances including the vacations of temporary workers hutments etc at site, if any to the Client
  • Witness testing & commissioning of all utilities, coordinating operation and maintenance manuals and training to the client staff
  • Co-ordination with vendors/ firms and arrange for user operations & maintenance manuals and training of Client’s representatives
  • Provide engineering and supervisory staff for day to day inspection/ monitoring of works as per agreement and requirement.
  • Carry out post-construction QA checks
  • Collate and handover records related to the project & maintenance by PMC during project execution to the Client on project completion
